Co-op Camp: A weekend of transdisciplinary events focused on collaboration, cooperation and grass roots organization.

Building on the model of Coop Camp in Tampere, Finland, Co-op Camp is an occasion to explore all forms of cooperative practices through informal presentations, workshops, screenings, and other activities.

A rich history of cooperative efforts has shaped the Hyde Park neighborhood (Dewey’s Lab Schools, Hobo College, Qumbya houses, etc.)  but these spaces and concepts are often unrecognized or unnoticed by broader society. Co-op Camp is an opportunity for us to explore the empowering ways in which we can learn, live and grow as a community.
