Writers’ Circle

Every Wednesday night 7:00pm-9:00pm.

These meetings are open to everyone and anyone, drop-ins and regular attendees, artists, scientists, students, or anyone at all who wants a quiet, constructive environment to write anything at all for two hours a week. These meetings are free. SHoP accepts donations of time, money and skill exchanges with gratitude.

General structure: 20 minutes for introductions and optional discussions of what we’re writing, reading prompts, etc. followed by an hour and 20 minutes of silent writing with the option of working and talking in groups in the other room, and ending with 20 minutes for optional reading of what was written, critiquing, etc. as people desire.
